We loved the charming and stylish decor of the Dolphin Inn. The vintage pieces added a unique touch to the overall ambiance. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced. The kitchen and dining room facilities were excellent, and we enjoyed spending time on the lovely roof terrace, basking in the sun. The location was convenient, with easy access to the railway station and regular bus service. The off-road parking was a bonus. Being close to the seafront allowed us to enjoy pleasant strolls, and the town centre was within walking distance. There were plenty of parks and activities nearby for our kids to enjoy. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction, providing us with a truly homely experience. The free WiFi throughout the hostel was much appreciated. The family-sized room with surprisingly comfortable single beds, as well as the variety of breakfast options, offered great value. Our grandson had a fantastic time and would love to go back, and so would I!

It would have been wonderful if non-dairy milk was available at breakfast, as it was not seen during our stay. Additionally, a small mat or rug beside the bed would have been nice, especially as we didn't bring slippers or extra socks.

The rooms were clean and comfortable, with a stylish and vintage decor that I really enjoyed. The self-catering kitchen was well equipped, with spices and oil provided, making it easy to prepare a meal. I also loved the roof terrace, which caught lots of sun and was a great place to relax.

One major downside was the lack of mugs or glasses in the room. It was a bit inconvenient to have to borrow them from the kitchen.

The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with surprisingly comfortable single beds. The hostel is relatively new, so everything felt fresh and new. The free breakfast had plenty of options and great value. I highly recommend this place!

Enjoyed my Christmas stay at this hostel! The self-service breakfast was a nice touch, with a variety of options like toast, cereal, jam, and marmite. The hostel had a unique and retro vibe, with interesting items everywhere to keep me entertained. The family room I stayed in was spacious and bright, and I loved having a small record player with a selection of vintage records. The separate shower and toilet right next to the room were convenient, and the shower was excellent.

Parking near the hostel was a bit tricky, especially if you're coming by car. It would be helpful if there were better parking options available.

During my recent stay at Dolphin Inn, I was thrilled with the pet-friendly atmosphere. I brought my beloved pup Izzie along, and the host was not only welcoming but also provided treats to help her navigate the stairs with ease. The well-equipped self-catering kitchen was a pleasant surprise, and the complimentary breakfast spread was a fantastic touch. The central location in Dunbar was perfect for exploring the town and nearby attractions. The communal facilities were spotless, and I particularly enjoyed the short walk to the beach. I had a wonderful experience at Dolphin Inn and would highly recommend it for anyone visiting Dunbar.
